c l o t h i n g- - - - - - - - - - - - - - -a blonde head poked through the opening of the door to the instrument class. the obly person it could possibly be was danica voesy. seeing that no one was in there, she walked fully into the room and closed the door behind her, leaving it only slightly ajar. her only intention for being in this room after classes had ended was to get her notebook that she left on her desk from earlier today. she spotted it right where she had left it and snatched up and put it in her arms with her other books. it was only then that her intentions changed. as she walked towards the doorway, from the corner of her eye she spotted the piano. since classes were over, she figured maybe she could play a little something just because. so, she quickly walked towards it. her heels made that annoying clicking sound and spotted as she sat down on the stool. she laid her books on the floor next to her and delicatly ran her fingers over the keys, playing a little tune as she did so. for a while now, she had been working on a song, but she never got a chance to actually play it. so, this was her only chance to. as her fingers began to play, the song started slow and flowed nicely. "stay alone in my room , every moment passing too slow, watch the candles burn into the night. fall into a dream , wake up and everythings the same, a second older, but alone, just like a child. if you just give me a sign , to live and not to die. then i can see a little light, i can find a piece of mine, i dont know where you are, maybe near or maybe far, i just need a little light hear a clock ticking on a life that could have meaning. if i could find the love like in your eyes, see a million people, everyones so lonely, but we dont have to be alone tonight. if i could see a little light, if i could find some piece of mine, if you just give me a sign i can see a little light, i dont know where you are, maybe near or maybe far, just need a little light. stay alone in my room , every moment passing too soon, watch the candles burn into the night." after she finished, continued to play the music, but didn't sing. she was still working on those lyrics. it didn't seem right, but that was just her.

Guitar in hand, Jason decided that he would pay a visit to the instrumental class. Why? It wasn't cause he needed to lear. However, the room had very good acousitics and was a preferable room to play in, much better than the dorm. His converse made a small sound n the ground as he moved towards the door. He was about to open the door, but he heard someone singing as well as playing the piano. Jay stopped and pressed his ear to the door, trying to hear that person. if i could find the love like in your eyes, see a million people, everyones so lonely, but we dont have to be alone tonight. if i could see a little light. THey lyrics were very good, ther wasn't a doubut about that. He opened the door slowly, only to find that the music has stopped, and he was sure someone had heard him by now. "Hey," he said. Then he realized who it was: danica! Danica, the junior he had met at Starbucks, one of his friends outside of the Kings and Island Princesses. "Thos lyrics were pretty good," he added, a smile on his face. "Did you write it yourself?" he inquired.[/blockquote]

c l o t h i n g- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - just as danica went to stand up from her seat, she was startled to see jason walking into the room. she didn't think anyone would actually walk in since classes were over and everything. "oh hi!" she said with a grin as she quickly sat back down. she looked at her books for a moment before hearing his compliment on her lyrics. "thanks," she said looking up at him, "i wrote them a long long time ago. when i was in junior high."
she intentionally wrote the song for a talent show in the 7th grade, but that didn't work out too well since the girls in her group ditched to do some hip-hop booty shaking routine. she always thought that was pretty stupid. they could have worked with the ever some talent danica voesy, but no they were to fasinated by the flashy costumes and electronic music. she quickly snapped out of her little flashback and asked, "what are you doing here? classes are over."

Jason's preffered seat was on a desk, and not a chair, the way teachers always told you that you shouldn't sit. His feet dangled over the side of the desk, not toching the ground. His guitar was in his hand like he was going to play, but he didn't touch any of the strings. "Junior high?" That seemed like a long time ago, but it was really only four years or so. "Yeah, long time ago." he said with a small smile forming on his lips. Danica questioned his motive: why was he here? She added that the school day was over. "I could ask you the same thing," he replied, raising one eyebrow. "But, since you asked first, I'll tell you." I don't have a piano in my dorm and the acoustics here are pretty good." He shrugged his shoulders, trying to brush it off as no big deal. "What are you doing here? Classes are over," he said, repating the exact words she had said not even two minutes ago. He mocked her, but not in a mean way. [/blockquote]

c l o t h i n g- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - danica nodded as he said 'yeah, a long time ago'. four years was a long time. at least, to danica of coarse. heck, in four years she had moved all the way from new york to california and then to hawaii. that would make four years seem long. "well, i was down here to get my notebook book. then, i decided to play the piano since i would nothing else to do all day." she told him after he had asked her what she doing down here. she ignored his mocking of her, which she found slightly amusing for some odd reason. she glanced at his guitar for a moment and looked back at him. "what are you going to play?" she asked with a small smile.

Jason wondered for a moment what kind of notebook it was and let his imagination run wild. Maybe it was just a science or math notebook, but no, that was too boring. Perhaps it was a notebook in which she kept all her lyrics in. No, not dramatic enough. Maybe it was her diary! He almost laughed aloud at the thought, but caught himself before he did. "Hmmm, what am I going to play?" he said. He thought about what he could play, he thought about playing one his own songs, but decided against it. "have you heard of Jason Mraz?" he asked Danica. He started singing one of Mr. Mraz's songs, "The Remedy." Well i saw fireworks from the freeway And behind closed eyes I cannot make them go away 'Cause you were born on the fourth of july, freedom ring Now something on the surface it stings I said something on the surface Well it kind of makes me nervous Who says that you deserve this And what kind of god would serve this? We will cure this dirty old disease Well if you've got the poison I've got the remedy
The remedy is the experience. This is a dangerous liaison I say the comedy is that it's serious. This is a strange enough new play on words I say the tragedy is how you're gonna spend The rest of your nights with the light on So shine the light on all of your friends When it all amounts to nothing in the end.
I won't worry my life away. I won't worry my life away.
Well i heard two men talking on the radio In a cross fire kind of reality show Uncovering the ways to plan the next big attack They were counting down the ways to stab The brother in the be right back after this The unavoidable kiss, where the minty fresh Death breath is sure to outlast this catastrophy Dance with me, because if you've got the poison, I've got the remedy
When I fall in love I take my time There's no need to hurry when I'm making up my mind You can turn off the sun but I'm still gonna shine and I'll tell you why
Because
The remedy is the experience. This is a dangerous liaison I say the comedy is that it's serious. This is a strange enough new play on words I say the tragedy is how you're gonna spend The rest of your nights with the light on So shine the light on all of your friends When it all amounts to nothing in the end.
I won't worry my life away I won't worry my life away I won't and I won't and I won't ooc: you have to listen to the song, cause it sounds so much different when it's acoustic. so just listen to it while you ar replying or something, cause it's a must.

c l o t h i n g- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - danica nodded, "oui," she said, "i mean yes," she then corrected herself. she had actually heard of this jason mraz person. from her american cousins of coarse. danica wasn't into the whole american music scene just yet. she could still be caught seeing a french pop song every now and then. she quickly stopped her mind rambling as he began to play. her elbow gently laid on the edge of the piano as her eyes fixed on him, which definitly wasn't a bad thing for her. she found him to be very attractive, much more than his brother shane which all the girls just seem to go crazy over. jason is probably more talented than him too. when he finished, she smiled wide. "that was lovely," she said, "you sing very well and play guitar very very good too."
ooc: that song is my new song on my ipod! XD i like it!

He laughed a bit when she replied in French. He didn't know why though, and he didn't mean to be rude. It was just that every time he saw Danica they ended up talking in French. Well, she did, at least. When he was playing, he looked in her direction and caught her looking at him. Maybe it was just a coincidence, but it looked almost like staring. He averted his eyes to the wall in fornt of him. However, every now and then he looked at her. When Jay finished playing, Danica told him that he had a good voice ."Thanks," he said with a smile. Whenever he and his brothers played together, it was always 'oooh, caden, your hair is so curly and your singing is so gooooood!' or 'shane, i absolultey love the way you play the tamborine while you sing! doing both must be very hard.' It was refreshing for a change to have someone pay attention to him, instead of his teachers. ooc: jason mraz is pretty good. his newest album is much more jazzy than the rest, i like it a lot!

c l o t h i n g- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - "your very welcome," danica replied with a wide grin. "you should sing more often," she told him, "people have told that usually caden and shane just sing the majority of the sings you al play and you sing back-up and play guitar, but thats only what i've heard the shane groupies say." she gave a smile, finding 'shane groupies' to be find of funny. that was really what they were though. she had even seen a few girls follow him from class to class once. danica though it was pathetic, really pathetic. it seemed to her like jason didn't get the recognition he really deserved. "do you write a lot of songs for your brothers?" she asked curiously. since he supposively never sang, she wondered if he might be the behind-the-scenes type of people who make the great things work. in this case the songs being the great things that make the shows go on.

Jason listened as Danica said that he should sing more. "Oh," he said. Most people prefered Caden and Shane's voice to his, so most of the time he just stayed in the background. "Shane groupies?" he laughed hard at that one. He hadn't heard that one before, but he didn't doubut the groupies exisitence. "Well they pretty much have it right." he paused and then added very seriously, "However, they neglected to tell you that he does play tambourine." "Most of the songs we all write together." he said. He didn't the songs he wrote were really great, but some people thought so. "I've written a couple songs for the band, though." he said. He sometimes just prefered to be in the background, but other times he wished he got a little more credit than he did. [/blockquote]

c l o t h i n g- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - "oooh, tamborine. he must very very talented to play one of thoughs!" she said sarcasticly with a smile. if it wasn't obvious, danica didn't like shane. she never did really. to her, he always seemed arrogant and annoying. it was apparent that he knew he was popular and believe it or not, good looking. she wondered how jason and caden put up with it. danica raised an eyebrow when he said he had wrote songs for the band. "do you ever get to sing them yourself?" she asked him. she thought most songwriters sang their own songs, famous or not.

He nodded his head, saying that he agreed with her. It wasn't too hard to play a tambourine: now guitar was a totally different story. "Oh, so talented." he said while rolling his eyes. When Danica raised her eyebrow, he raised his eyebrow to. "Not really," he said. he was slightly dissapointed. "I was thinking about playing at the Tiki Hut one night, but I wasn't sure if it would be any good." No one ever could just crtique him, everybody had to critique the band as a whole. It was like he just dissapeared into the background. [/blockquote]

c l o t h i n g- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - "i think it would be really good," she told him after he had said he thought it wouldn't. she wasn't going to let him think otherwise. "and i would totally be that audience," she added with a smile. that was of coarse if he were to perform at the tiki hut. she hoped he would, without his brothers by his side like usual. "and if you need a piano player or a violinist, i'm your girl!" she added rather proudly, sitting up straight with a smile on her face.

"thanks," he said. again. Yes, he had said it before, but it was still true. She was giving him some compliments that no one ever had before. When he was on stage, he was the guitarist. When he was with Danica, he was just Jason. " I'd play for a crowd of one," he said. " As long as that person liked it, that would be good." Of course, he thought to himself, playing for a group of people would be better, but he would talk what he could get. "I'll keep that in mind," he said. Right now Jay hadn't any need for a violinst, but hey, you never know when you might need someone to play violin for you. [/blockquote]
c l o t h i n g- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - "i would rather perform infront of one person rather then, like, a lot," danica said as she looked down at the piano keys, "i'm deathly afraid of performing infront of huge crowds of people because i mess up people will know it and think i'm so untalented person and then i'd have to cry and run off stage. then those island princess girls would hear about it and pester me for the rest of the year." she looked back up at him and gave a small smile. she figured he probably wouldn't say the same since he had probably performed a lot with his brothers. danica on the other hand rarely performed anywhere, not even infront of her parents.
