no we're not going to work this out tonight If you had asked Jason how he felt right now, he might reply with something like "I'm straving!" This of course, would have been an exaggeration but Jason hadn't ever felt any real hunger in his life. So this was as close as he got. He was hungry, but he didn't know exactly what he wanted. He i206.photobucket.com/albums/bb286/addict323/outfit_002.jpg] some clothes, grabbed his wallet, cell phone, and walked out of his dorm room.
He wondred where he could go. He had eaten lunch an hour ago, so he didn't want a full meal. But he wanted something more than a little cookie or something at the local bakery. He decided on Starbucks. Sure, it was pretty generic but it was exactly what he was in the mood for.
Pushing open the door, he found a large crowd of people waint in line. He wasn;t too happy about the line, but at least it was air-conditioned. Plus, wating in line gave him time to think about his order and maybe meet some new people.

a sound of a violin came to an abrupt stop and a moment later a petite blonde emerged from her dorm room. she quickly walked from the complex and out of school. she was growing tired and she didn't want to fall asleep while was studying like she usually did, so she headed towards her beloved starbucks.
as she walked inside, she slipped her pair of blue ray-ban sunglasses on the top of her head. she then glanced around the long line, only notice a face she had seen many times before. mr. jason renalds. she knew if it were anyone else, she'd go up and talk to them, but him being him, she was just entirly too shy, well she would get nervous.
so, she quietly slipped into the line, hoping he wouldn't reconize her from school. deep down inside she was hoping she would, but that was way deep. way, way deep.

The line was moving very slowly considering it wasn't lunch time or anything. He peered over the top of the counter to see how many people were working back there. He counted two. This was going to be a long wait. Luckily for him, he had time.
He heard the sound of the door open. he turned around to see who it was. It was Danica, a girl who atteneded the academy. She put sunglasses on her head that matched her outfit. Not something guys, especially guys like jason, would usually notice. They matched the ones he had in his pocket, except for his ray-bans were black. "Nice glasses," he said to her with a smile.

danica voesy ! as danica stood in line, she couldn't help but glance over at jason a few time. what girl wouldn't though? with good looks like his and all. when she went to look at him once more, she was almost startled when he said something to her. "nice glasses," was what he said and that compliment made her grin a cheeky little grin. "oh, thank you!" she said, still looking at him of coarse. she had never really been compliment on things before, wel besides smiling all of the time, but she was ignoring that. she was quite happy now.

She looked kind of startled when he said something to her. Although he couldn't think of why. She responded with a smiple thanks and then smiled at him. "I'm Jason," he said, leaving his left hand in his jeans pocket and extending his right hand for a handshake. He knew they went to the same school, but they had never really met before. She wasn't one of the Island Princesses, the group pf girls he usually hung out wiht.

danica voesy ! danica gladly shook his hand as he extended it to her. "i'm danica," she said, her smile becoming smaller, figuring it would be creepy if she kept grinning the whole time. "nice to meet you jason," she added. "so, what brings you to starbucks today?' she asked. wait, he was probably getting coffee or something. what a stupid question to ask. she simply shook that at out her head, not literally, then she'd look like some weird shakey person. yes, danica was maybe just too aware of her actions and constantly thought about what she said and did.

"Danica, like the race car driver?" He was sure that name sounded familiar. LIke Danica Patrick? "That's a cool name," he aded. Truth be told, he didn;t really watch car races. As if that wasn;t bovious by the way he said 'race car'. "I'm at Starbucks for the drinks," he said, with a small smile. Why else did people come to starbucks? "And I needed to get this CD." He picked up a Coldplay CD from the shelf. He had heard it was really good, and he wanted to see for himself.

danica voesy ! danica raised an eyebrow. "um, well, sure i guess." she covered up her awkward answer with a grin, "thanks," she also added as he complimented her 'cool name'. she didn't want to answer his reply to the reason he came here today, she'd probably just embarass herself. again if she hadn't already. she watched as he reached for the cd. it looked familer and then she read the name. 'coldplay'. she just bought the cd off of itunes. "i just bought that recently," she said, keeping a small smile on her face, "its really good."

They had been talking so much neither one had noticed that they were now at the front of the line. "I'll have a passion tea lemonade, venti. 1/2 the sweetner." he said. Jason had found that they usually put in too much sweetner. Will that be all? the person behind the counter asked. He handed the counter-person the CD and said "one more drink," he said. He now turned his attention to Danica and asked, "What do you want?" he said. He whipped out his wallet as he waited for her response.

danica voesy ! danica listened to his order. whow, it sounded prety fancy, like one of those gormet drinks she used to get in paris when she was younger. it shocked her when he asked what she wanted. should she say what she wanted or just insist on getting it herself. there she went thinking again. "um, just a latte will do," she said. hopefully they weren't expensive, then she'd feel bad.

Jason listened as Danica ordered. "So we'll have a latte," he said. Then he hadned over a twenty to the cashier. When he was handed the change, he stuffed it in the tip jar. It was only two dollars, but he figured it was something. He picked up the CD he had just purchased and motioned in the direction of the counter where there drinks were waiting. He picked up her drink and handed it to her, his drink in his other hand. "here you go," he said. They had fast service for the store being so crowded.

danica voesy ! "thank you!" she said, taking it from him with a grin on her face. she was still shock that he had offered to buy it fo rher. most guys she knew would never buy anything for her, or any girl. they were also quite snobby too, so she figured jason wasn't, or he just wasn't towards her. that was okay though. he seemed really nice and different than than a lot of guys a school, well different than his brothers sadly to say. they seemed caught up in there popularity, which she found strange since she had thought only girls worried about things like that.

He smiled back at her. "No problem," he took a sip of the lemonade. It was was pink, bbright pink and he was sure that it looked like a girly drink. "So you go to O'ahu, right?" he asked. Most teens around here did, especailly the ones at this starbucks. It was right across from the campus.
ooc: sorry for the short post!

danica voesy ! with a nod, she answered, "oui," she quickly shook her head. speak english, "yes, i do." danica had a hard time remembering to speak english around people, since she was french and all. she remembered one time she went through a conversation speaking french and had no idea that the person she was speaking with had no idea what she was saying. that was embarassing. sipping her latte, she thought about the school thing. didn't just about every teenager around here go to oahu? if they were a native hawaiian she was sure they were a student, or a lame tourist of coarse.
ooc| its alright! =)

When Danica responded, he was a bit suprised, although he didn't let it show on his face. It wasn't that she was an O'ahu student that suprised him, but the fact that she answered in French. "Are you French?" Yes, it was lame to say. She probably was, but in his defense, he spoke spanish sometimes even though he wasn't Spanish. He took a sip of his drink: well, actually, it came out more like a slurp, complete with loud sound. "Sorry," he apoloqiezed very quickly.
