S H A N E
"hm... this'll do..." the dark-haired boy said, softly as he grabbed a few clothes out of his closed. throwing them on, he ended up wearing this. with a smile at the mirror, he picked up his comb and brushed his hair. sighing, he saw how curly it had gotten overnight. "great..." he mumbled, snatching his straightener and plugging it in. he waited a few secconds before beginning to straighten his hair. in the end, his hair looked normal, like it always had. he brushed his teeth so they shined with ease adn he made sure he looked his best for school. yeah, it was school, but this guy couldn't afford a bad day.
in his new blue car, the seventeen-year-old drove from his house to his school. why would he take the bus? anyway, upon arriving, he hurried to his locker, and then to the gym. his first class was really close, so he enjoyed waiting her and just singing a little and shooting some hoops. with a song in mind, the dark-haired boy began humming a beautiful tune. he looked at the hoop and grabbed a basketball. his hums turned to whistles as he shot basket after basket. soon, he heard something behind him. with a short pause, he went back to dribbling and shooting.

the outfit for todayDemi pulled her outfit out of her closet and brushed her hair quickly. She had slept late; again. She had been making a bad habit out of this since she had arrived at O'ahu Academy. She looked at her reflection in the mirror and sighed. That was about as good as she was going to get for today. She did not even bother to straighten her hair, as she had tried yesterday, because she did not want to be late again. Demi pulled on a red hoodie jacket and her vans, then headed towards the door. Since her dorm was so close to campus, she just walked, hoping that she would not run into anyone, including Brooke. More like, expecially Brooke. When she finally arrived at campus, she walked to her locker to put away a few things, and take some things out. She looked at the clock on the wall. 8:30, it read. She still had plenty of time to do anything she wanted to do, so she decided to look around the school. Being new at the school, she had not seen the gym or anything else yet, so she headed towards it. She tried to find the door for it. After looking for a minute, she found a possible door and opened up. She saw a boy shooting hoops in front of her. Actually, like fifty feet away. Oops, she thought, reaching for the door handle once more.

stopping after a final basket, the boy whirled around on his heels. he softly tossed his head and looked at her with his dark brown eyes. he nodded slightly and spoke to her. "new girl, right? the name's shane." he said calmly and smoothly. he tossed the basketball to the side of the gym, where it had been before. with a good few steps, he stood right in front of her. his strong, athletic build against her slimmer body type.
ooc: I have writers' block...

Demi watched the boy shoot another basket, and then he turned around and looked at her. Apparently he had known she was there all the time, because he introduced himself and approached her. "Yeah," she said, hating her new nickname, "I'm Demi," she added quickly. New girl is what many people were refering her as these days, and how she truly hated it. It was bad enough she did not know anyone, either ooc: lol, same here
